sprouting

tearing open

from the heart

I want to allow

my vision

expanding audacious dreams

big wings

emerging

tearing open

from the center

I feel my power

will I

breathe with this flow?

strong wings

spreading

tearing open

from the root

I am this

sacred being

if we don’t know each other yet, I’m Stephannie.

I want to live in a world where self-expression is offered and received wholeheartedly, and right now, my work is exploring my challenges to do that for myself.

These are studies using my self-inquisitive poetry to make marks on paper.

I struggled and danced and cried and raged, and laughed a lot.
